Sweet Pea Project staff are specially trained to help women who may be at risk for entering the Child Welfare System. We are there to assist clients in the event Child Welfare becomes involved in their life. This includes support during hearings, family decision meetings, and assistance with communicating to Child Welfare staff. Our goal is to promote a positive outcome for families. All services offered through The Sweet Pea Project are confidential and individually designed to give the support necessary to be a successful parent.
Serving Clatsop County, The Sweet Pea Project is designed to build healthy communities and wrap support around families.
We accept referrals from Head Start, DHS Self Sufficiency/Child Welfare, medical providers and community partners.
If you, or someone you know, is pregnant and/or parenting and feel unsafe, The Sweet Pea Project is there to help. Advocates are available 24 hours a day to assist.
