The Board of Directors and staff of The Harbor are looking for a dedicated leader with a strong vision of supporting survivors in Clatsop County. Due to unexpected family circumstances impacting our outgoing Executive Director, we have an opportunity to bring new leadership to the organization. Are you our next Executive Director?
General Duties: The Executive Director provides leadership and guidance to a team of exceptional staff in an effort to end domestic and sexual violence. A primary objective of the Executive Director is to maintain a work culture that is healthy, supportive, and utilizes trauma-informed, empowerment, non-violent communication, and strength based models. Under the supervision of the Board of Directors, the Executive Director shall have general charge, oversight and direction of the affairs and business of The Harbor.

Together with two Weekday Shelter Specialists, the Weekend Shelter Specialist person will provide on-site advocacy services to residents of The Harbor’s confidential shelter program for survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Services reflect our mission to provide advocacy, prevention, and support to promote self-determination and hope for survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence and stalking.
